Chris Dwyer / President
Born and raised in Medway, MA, Chris attended Medway High School graduating in 1989. He later went on to attend UMASS Dartmouth and Suffolk University earning his BSBA Finance degree in 1994.
After college, Chris worked at Putnam Investments for 10 years in various service related roles before being name an Assistant Vice President in the international markets. Leaving Putnam in 2004, Chris pursued his passion in hockey by opening a training facility named Slapshots Hockey Academy.  For the next 5 years Chris would work closely with local youth hockey groups and the area's YMCA, teaching kids the fundamentals of ice hockey. He also served on the Franklin Youth Hockey Association Board of Directors for 2 years as Vice President. In 2009, Chris joined the family business and now serves as President of New England Fire Systems, Inc.
In addition to serving on the RB Foundation Gala committee, Chris was the head coach at Medway High School for 12 years. He enjoys coaching his 3 children who all currently play under the RB Hockey School umbrella.Â
Chris currently resides in Franklin MA, with his wife Alison, and 3 children, Lily, Jordan and JT.
Curt Rodman / Board Member & Gala Chairman
Born and raised in Canton, MA, Curt attended Canton High School and graduated in 1974 with a focus on the Arts. He then attended Curry College as a Fine Art Major with a Minor in Music; he graduated in 1978.Â
After graduating from Curry College in 1978, Curt began working full time at the family owned business Rodman Ford, Lincoln Mercury in Foxboro, MA. Starting out as a Sales Consultant, Curt was promoted to Truck Manager in 1982, Sales Manager for Ford and Lincoln Mercury in 1983, and then to General Manager of Ford and Lincoln Mercury in 1985. In 1996 Curt became Dealer Partner of Maroone Chevrolet in Fort Lauderdale, FL, which he sold in 1997 to Autonation. He then joined Koons World Ford in Hollywood, FL until moving back to Massachusetts in 2001 where he resumed his role as Dealer Partner of Rodman Ford, Lincoln Mercury.
Curt has served on the Board of Directors for numerous charities such as Big Brother Big Sister, Haitan Center of Dorchester, Temple Beth Abraham of Canton, Taunton’s Community Connection, and Norwood Hospital. He continues to serve on the Board of Directors for the Rodman Ride for Kids, Celebration of Giving, and Curry College.
Curt married his wife Marsha in 1981. Together they have three daughters: Sheryl, Rachel and Jayne. He proudly gained three son-in-laws, Michael, Thomas, and Marco and has been blessed with three grandsons, Curtis, Clayton and Leo.
Joe Moriarty / Treasurer
With King, McNamara & Moriarty LLP since 1989, Joe specializes in serving the owners of closely held businesses of all sizes in many industries, including personal service firms, construction, hospitality, manufacturing, and real estate. He is especially skilled in helping clients make sound decisions about growth strategies, mergers and acquisitions, as well as succession planning, and retirement planning.
Joe’s expertise extends to compliance and filing of personal and business income tax returns, tax planning, capital formation and debt financing for closely-held businesses. He also has experience representing clients before federal and state tax authorities for conflict resolution and collection matters. Joe has assisted his clients with business reorganization and recapitalization, financial restructuring, as well as management advisory on business opportunity decisions.
Joe received his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Bentley College. Prior to joining King, McNamara & Moriarty, Joe was with KPMG. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Joe lives in Walpole, MA with his wife and four children. He enjoys music and sporting events.
Alison Dwyer / Board Member
Alison was grew up in Kennebunkport, ME and Medway, MA, graduating high school there in 1989. She earned her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from UMASS Dartmouth in 1993 and her Master’s degree in Art Therapy from Lesley College in 1995.
She has worked as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Art Therapist for the past 18 years in psychiatric hospitals, crisis units, and residential treatment centers. Although experienced working with adults, she most enjoys working with at-risk kids. She currently works as an Adjustment Counselor at a local high school and spends a lot of her time supporting youth on the Autism spectrum. She also is the director of a local community coalition group who’s mission is to support at risk youth. They have several signature projects that use art as a way to bring the community together. She is also experienced in grant writing, securing yearly funding for youth programs.
Alison, a “hockey mom/wife,” currently resides in Franklin MA, with her husband Chris, and their 3 hockey players, Lily, Jordan and JT. Between her husband and children’s hockey career, she has probably been to every rink in Massachusetts!
Marc Ruskin / Board Member
Marc Ruskin is the Founder & President of FASTHockey, Inc. and brings a unique perspective to the foundation having a background in ice hockey as a player, coach, scout, and on ice-official; information technology; and the Internet. An experienced entrepreneur, Mr. Ruskin has been involved in the start-up, growth, and operation of several ventures. His background also includes leadership roles at consultancies, both large and small, including: NobleVoice, NewVantage, Cambridge Technology Partners, CBSI (formerly c.w. Costello & Associates, Inc.) and CBE Technologies. He is a graduate of Bentley College in Waltham, MA.
Kristen Kenny / Board Member
Kristen grew up in Hanover, MA and currently resides in Stoneham, MA. She attended Westfield State College and graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management.
Kristen is an accomplished human resource leader with expertise in domestic and international HR Operations, benefits, compensation, performance management, career development and employee relations. For the past 15 years she has demonstrated her ability in the building of HR teams in early stage companies. She is currently employed at HubSpot, Inc. in Cambridge, MA.
Kristen has worked on several fundraising committees for other charities. In her spare time Kristen enjoys golf, travel, reading and spending time with her two nephews. Her oldest nephew is just starting his hockey career with RB Hockey’s learn to skate program.
Steve Sheinkopf / Board Member
The third generation owner of Yale Appliance and Lighting, Steve has been part of numerous charities through his company since it's inception. The company has supported many different charities such as Brigham and Womens, Pine Street Inn as well as various heart and cancer foundations. Steve has served as a board member on three differen boards. A true hockey fan, Steve has attended the Beanpot for the last 10 consecutive years.
Greg Menzel / Board Member
Greg grew up in Hanover, MA and after graduating Hanover High School, attended Fitchburg State College where he obtained his Bachelors of Science in Accounting. After working 6 years of public accounting with LT Falcone CPA, PC in Braintree, he became the controller of FX Messina Enterprises, a real estate developer in Braintree for the next 6 years. In June of 2000, Greg accepted the position of Chief Financial Officer of a seafood wholesale company, the Lobster Trap Co, in Bourne , MA. In November of 2005, he successfully orchestrated a management buyout with 3 other employees to become partners in the Lobster Trap Company, which is now the 2nd largest live lobster dealer in the world.
Greg and his wife Josephine have lived in Raynham for 12 years and have two sons who are both hockey players that have come through the RB Hockey programs. He currently and in the past, has coached hockey at Northeast Elite Hockey and for several other organizations.
John Walsh / Board Member
John grew up in West Roxbury and attended Boston Latin School and the University of Massachusetts/Amherst where he received a degree in Economics.
John has resided in Walpole for 22 years with his wife, Lois and their three children. Â John, Lois and his two sons are all currently-active hockey players.
John is the president and co-owner of Walsh Brothers Building Co.  Walsh Brothers continues to have a solid reputation with its clients and the community for over 25 years in the building of hundreds of single-family homes throughout Walpole and its surrounding towns. John is also a past member of the Walpole Finance Committee.
Rob Barletta / Founder
In 2003 Rob and wife Chrissy formed the NEH & RBHOCKEY Foundation, a charitable non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance to families in crisis and distress. Since that time, the Barlettas have raised and distributed more than $100,000 to families in need. Now, through the RB Foundation, Rob aims to help provide financial assistance to help hockey players in need realize their full potential.
Chrissy Barletta / Board Member
Christina has operated RB Hockey along with her husband since it was incorporated in 1998. She is responsible for handling the administration end of the business and customer relations. Six years ago Christina sparked an interest to play the game herself and has been playing women’s organized hockey ever since. She is a big promoter for women to start at any age; especially hockey mom’s who donate so much of their time to their own children’s hockey schedule. Christina and Rob have been married for twelve years and have three children – Samantha – 10 years old, Robert 8 years old and Jessica 7 years old. Last year she began assisting coaching for her Walpole Lady Rebels U10 team of which her own daughters were players. When not playing hockey or working for the hockey school, Christina enjoys volunteering her time at the children’s school. |
